Sign Age brings Success to Local Businesses

Sign Age has been a successful Tucson Sign Company Since 1996. That's seventeen years of quality service and growth. We've watched Tucson Grow and become a powerhouse in Southern Arizona and we are glad to report we are as productive and popular as ever.

Tucson's unemployment rate hovers around 7.6% while the nations average is 8.6%. Tucson's household income goes up as well as our GDP. These positive numbers are due to the economy in Tucson. It's relatively stable and the businesses in the valley continue to grow.

What Sign Age prides itself on is contributing to the growth of the businesses in the valley and beyond. Tucson is filled with locally owned business and we work one on one with them to provide the best products and the best quality in Town!

We excel in building signs, vehicle graphics and wraps, indoor signage, banners and digital printing but we also have a laser engraver, vinyl plotters, outdoor quality inkjet printers and a CNC router.

We weathered the economic down turn and are coming out on top! Stop in today to see what we can do for your business.

Pima Air & Space Museum Building Lettering

Sign Age had the opportunity to letter two hangers at Pima Air & Space Museum. The Count von Galen Hanger was lettered in honor of their Chairman of the Board, as a surprise for his visit to the museum in March. During May the center hanger was lettered with very large Pima Air & Space Museum dimensional lettering which easily catches your eye as you travel down Valencia. The letters were so large (each letter was about 4 feet high) a crane was needed to assist in the installation. Sign Age really enjoyed the opportunity to be part if this exciting project.

Northminster Presbyterian Church Annual Mission Trip to Puerta Penasco

Members of Northminster Prebysterian Church of Tucson took their annual mission trip to Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point), Mexico in February. They partnered with several other churches to help build a two room classroom Sunday school building for Centro Evangelistica Emaus, a Pentacostal church in Puerta Penasco.

During their mission trip, Northminster Church hosted an outreach event for children and families in the neighborhood where the Sunday school was being built. It included singing and praising, crafts and games and a pancake breakfast. Sign Age donated several banners to the outreach event that the kids got to jazz up with colored marking pens.

Young Explorers 'Sticky Paper Art'

Sign Age ends up with a lot of scrap vinyl in a variety of colors from our many ongoing projects. As a result, we donate the scrap vinyl to several schools in the area. Young Explorer Schools is one that receives the scraps. The school kids call it 'Sticky Paper Art'. They create large colorful murals using the vinyl pieces.

Dr. Fil Brooks, Educational Director for Young Explorers, shared a picture of one of the murals the school kids produced. She says that not only can "each child be successful and enjoy creating their own art pieces, they have practice using scissors which enables them to develop their small motor skills. It is always rewarding to watch them spend time peeling the backing and feeling they have accomplished a major achievement. Young Explorers Schools truly appreciate Sign Age for supplying us with the vinyl. 'Sticky Paper Art' is a big exciting and rewarding art experience for us!"
